My awesome friend, Blair Mishleau, is doing a journalism piece examining the ex-gay community. He is trying to “look beyond the political issue and see real people: gay, straight, ex-gay, ex-ex-gay, etc., as they form a concrete identity on an atypical path.”
He’s really trying hard to do journalistic justice to a delicate subject that is under-reported and very biased if reported on at all. I am going on interviews with him to photograph his subjects - both portraits and documentation of their lives.
